Mom Style Staple
In my pre-baby style life, style functionality was not taken into consideration. I would definitely sacrifice my personal comfort for the sake of an outfit (i.e. not wear a jacket when it’s snowing or kill my feet in crazy shoes). Now I have to be comfortable (since most of my time is spent either on the floor or sprinting after my toddler) at all times but still want to look put together and stylish. This is why a denim chambray dress is an absolute staple for any mama wardrobe. Check out the three different ways I styled this dress for different climates and occasions.
After giving birth I find that my feet fatigue very quickly so shoe choices are important. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m sometimes carrying a 30 lbs child all day or if pregnancy changed my feet, but I live in these Dansko booties. This look is great for cooler temps with the leggings and scarf and could easily add a flowy camel vest for additional warmth.
